The Power Of One!
Who Is Timothy DeWayne Brown?

At The age of 49 on Wednesday, January

earth to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus.
Tim was born February 24, 1960 in Muncie, IN to James W. Brown, Sr. and Tereatha Brown. Out of 6 children, Tim was the 3rd child born.
Tim belonged to a military family. James Brown Sr. served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years before he retired and the family settled in Sacramento, Ca.
Tim graduated in 1979 from Hiram Johnson HS in Sacramento, CA. But at 17 years old Tim saw the woman of his dreams Rosa M. Griffin at football game. They began a life long love affair and on September 11, 1982 Tim married his high school sweetheart and best friend Rosa M. Griffin in Sacramento, Ca.
Following in the steps of his Father, Tim for the next 22 years served his country with honor with the rank of Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Rosa and the kids followed Tim to various Stations: Sacramento, Ca., Italy, New York and finally San Diego!
At the time of his retirement Tim was the Air Force liaison for the Navel Consolidated Brig at Miramar, which is a Pacific area regional confinement facility for the United States Department of Defense.
Directly after retirement from the military, Tim was a Detention Officer for the Correction Corporation of America. He quickly developed the same reputation for excellence and servant hood in his new job assignment.
Oh yeah! We can’t forget that Big Smile!
Tim loved sports and reflected fondly of his Semi Pro-Football player years with the Plattsburgh North Stars Football Team in New York.
We received this email from the current Head Coach:
On behalf of all of the Plattsburgh North Stars family, please pass on our
sincere condolences to Tim's family and friends.
The 2010 season will be the 20th anniversary of the North Stars and we will initiate our Hall of Fame this season. I will make sure we have a moment of silence in Tim's memory during our Hall of Fame game.
